Grazing amongst the green valleys of Marecchia river, where nature marks the rhythm of life.

In the heart of Valmarecchia, going up from Rimini to the Tosco-Romagnolo Apennines. Amongst the green valleys, the cattle of Fontetto Farm grow in respect of what is the natural cycle. Nature itself marks the rhythms of life.

Among these hills, which offer beautiful landscapes and varied nature, farming has always been a vocation. And it is thanks to the characteristics of ruminants that the use of these sites is done in a more equitable and sustainable way, respecting the area’s biodiversity.

The forage they eat, mostly medical and spontaneous grass, is actually a more suitable crop than the production of wheat and cereals, which instead would require a disproportionate investment of energy and resources. Our lands, over 400 hectares, are grown without water and pesticides, strictly organically.

The activity of man appears to be respectful of the fertility of the soil, of the animals and of the environmental balance. In fact, the techniques used in cultivations exclude the use of chemical fertilizers and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Agricultural production is of great importance in Fattoria Fontetto both in terms of environmental sustainability and animal welfare and of the quality of the meat produced.

Our motto has always been and always be: breeders according to nature!
